Research Assistantships and Post-docs

A postdoctoral fellow position (or visiting scientist, or research associate) and a Ph.D research assistant position are currently open (as of May, 2008). Candidates with strong academic record and relevant experimental experience are encouraged to contact and visit our lab. A tradition of the lab is for the lab members to have a chance to meet with and hear a presentation by the most promising candidates before making any decision.

We consider for graduate research assistantships only the top candidates among graduate students at Brown (i.e. currently enrolled in, or have been (or will be) accepted into a graduate program). We value candidates who:

  • are self-motivated and have the drive
  • are creative and original
  • have a strong academic background
  • have a strong work ethic
  • are persistent and determined
  • communicate well
  • are good people
