Current Research Interests
Atomic, Molecular and quantum structures, phenomena, devices and sciences, sensors, emitters, lasers, and collective behaviors of large coupled quantum systems. Ongoing research includes silicon photonics, carbon nanotubes, nanoelectronic-molecule interfaces; arrayed quantum structures in metals, superconducting, molecules and semiconductors; DNA conductivity, DNA engineering; nano-electronic interfacing of redox proteins and cells.Education

Holds 16 patents.
- Graduated 20 Ph.Ds, 30 Master Degree theses and 19 postdoctoral fellows. Currently supervising 8 Ph.D students and 3 postdoctoral fellows.
- 13 former and current students received 14 international and national, and university awards/prizes for their theses researches, including Best Paper prize and Doctoral Thesis Medals.
